The next generation of OnePlus Watches are rumoured to run on an unidentified version of Wear OS, which will bring more features and support for more sophisticated features than the first generation’s more basic operating system.
The OnePlus Watch 2 will be introduced at MWC 2024, per a post made on X (formerly Twitter) by Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) of AllAboutSamsung. We can anticipate the arrival of OnePlus’s second smartwatch by the end of February, as the yearly trade show focused on mobile devices set to commence on February 26 and conclude on February 29.
If Jambor’s claim accurate, it would also explain why the company hasn’t revealed any information about the smartwatch before the OnePlus 12 global launch event. The OnePlus Watch, the company’s debut smartwatch, retailed for Rs. 14,999 in April 2021. A 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with 2.5D curved glass on top was featured on that model.
