by For the Mercedes-Benz A45 S 4Matic+ has unveiled a brand-new special package. Called the ‘Limited Edition,’ this ultra-hot hatchback has unique features that may not appeal to everyone, but they make the small Benz stand out.
First up, the exterior, which is stunningly painted in AMG Green Hell Magno. This colour, which gained popularity from the AMG GT R Coupe, is being offered for the first time in the compact class. Mercedes-AMG added noticeable A45 S emblems to the front doors in addition to black racing stripes that extended over the hood, roof, and trunk in addition to the bright green paint job, as if that weren’t enough.
The car’s pinstripes and the contrasting yellow details on the 19-inch forged AMG wheels in matt black complement each other. Beneath the seven-spoke wheels are black AMG brake callipers adorned with white AMG logos.Puddle lamps that project the AMG coat of arms onto the road and a fuel cap with the exclusive AMG logo are two more exterior details.
The AMG Night Package, AMG Night Package II, and AMG Aerodynamics Package are included as standard equipment with the Limited Edition. This gives the beltlines, mirror housings, and front splitter an exterior gloss black finish. Night Package II adds black trim to the grille struts, exterior badging, and a few other small details.
The A45 S is more enjoyable to drive thanks to additional aerodynamic improvements and a fixed AMG rear wing. Mercedes claims that by raising contact pressure, they enhance high-speed driving characteristics.Inside, there are more alterations. The AMG performance seats are equipped with grippy microfiber upholstery and black Artico artificial leather upholstery. A subtle pop of colour is added to the seats by the subtle yellow stitching, and the headrests are embroidered with the letter 45 S in the same shade.
The seats and the AMG performance steering wheel have undergone the same modifications. The yellow AMG lettering and aluminium trim inlays with the recognisable AMG pattern give the interior a luxurious yet sporty feel. Yellow stitching and the lettering ’45 S’ are even featured on the floor mats.Sadly, the A45 S isn’t available for purchase in the US. Early in 2022, the A-Class was phased out, leaving the CLA, GLA, and GLB as the brand’s only compact cars. Although the CLA45 is fortunately available locally, we don’t think it will become a Limited Edition model.
The Limited Edition package costs €14,280 (roughly $15,300), making the A45 S 4Matic+’s total cost come to €87,792 ($94,000). Although the powerful Mercedes has 416 horsepower and can reach 62 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, that is a lot of money for a hot hatch.AMG is a sucker for limited edition vehicles, and the SL 63 Big Sur was just unveiled in conjunction with the Manufaktur programme for the AMG SL line’s American debut.
